Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the summit companion site

ACCESS & LOGGING IN

How do I log in for the first time?

Your account is created automatically when you register through Iowa State's registration system — you just need to set a password before your first login.

  1. Go to https://cirasai.com/access/
  2. Click the "reset your password" link in the yellow notice box at the top of the page
  3. Enter the email address you used when you registered with Iowa State
  4. Check your inbox for a message with the subject: [CIRAS AI Summit] Password Reset
  5. Click the link in that email and choose a new password
  6. You'll be returned to the access page — log in with your email and new password

Tip: Bookmark https://cirasai.com/my-account/ — that's your personal dashboard for the day.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Go to https://cirasai.com/access/ and click "reset your password" in the yellow notice box. Enter your registered email address and follow the link in the reset email.

I can't log in. What should I do?

First, make sure you're using the same email address you used when registering with Iowa State. If you've already reset your password and are still having trouble:

  • During the summit: Stop by the CIRAS booth during any break
  • Before or after the event: Use the contact form at https://cirasai.com/contact/

Note: Access to this site requires a valid summit registration. If you have not registered, you will not be able to log in.

Do I need to register before I can access the site?

Yes. Site access is tied to your summit registration through Iowa State. If you haven't registered yet, you can do so via the registration link on the About page. If you believe you should have access but cannot log in, please reach out at https://cirasai.com/contact/.

YOUR ACCOUNT & PROFILE

What should I set up in my account before the summit?

After logging in, head to https://cirasai.com/my-account/ and spend a few minutes filling in two sections:

  • Your Profile — name, email, company, role, and URL (include https:// before www.)
  • AI Prompt Auto-Fill — stores information that automatically fills in placeholders when you use prompts from the AI Toolkit

Both sections help the tools work better and save you time during the day.

What is the "AI Prompt Auto-Fill" section?

The AI Prompt Auto-Fill section on your account page stores personal context — like your company name, role, or goals — that automatically fills in placeholder fields in the AI Toolkit prompts. Instead of manually editing each prompt before pasting it into your AI tool, the site can pre-fill those details for you. Set it up at https://cirasai.com/my-account/ before the summit.

What is the "Danger Zone" and should I use it?

The Danger Zone section of your account page lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data. Think of it as a "nuclear option" — only use it if you're certain you want to fully disconnect from the platform.

  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You would need to contact us to be manually re-registered
  • If you only want to remove specific personal information, you can edit individual fields in your account settings instead

You can also simply leave your account active after the summit and return to content later. We do not sell or share your personal data.

Can I come back to the site after the summit?

Yes. Your account stays active after May 6 unless you choose to delete it. Session transcripts, videos, and presentation PDFs will be added to the site in the days following the event — your login gives you access to all of it. See After the Summit for details on what gets posted and when.

AGENDA, SPEAKERS & SESSIONS

Do I need to be logged in to browse the agenda and speakers?

No. The agenda, speaker profiles, and presentation pages are publicly available — no login required.

What is the "Use with AI" card on each session?

Each session on the agenda and presentations pages includes a "Use with AI" card — a quick-start prompt you can copy and paste directly into your AI tool. Use it before the session to prepare questions, during to take structured notes, or after to build a follow-up plan. See What is the AI Toolkit? for more on how prompts work.

THE AI TOOLKIT

What is the AI Toolkit?

The AI Toolkit at https://cirasai.com/ai-toolkit/ is a collection of 20+ ready-to-use prompts organized into four categories:

  • Schedule Planning — figure out which sessions fit your goals
  • Networking — prepare for conversations and follow-ups
  • Note-Taking — capture and structure what you're learning
  • Follow-Up — turn session insights into action items

It also includes a Starter Prompt to orient your AI tool to the summit context before you use any of the others.

How do I use the prompts with the summit data?

  1. Go to https://cirasai.com/downloads/ and download the Complete Summit Context (Data Package) zip file
  2. Unzip the file:
    • Windows: Right-click the .zip → "Extract All" → follow the prompts
    • Mac: Double-click the .zip → it extracts automatically into a folder
  3. Open your AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini — any of them work)
  4. Upload all files from the unzipped folder into your AI tool (uploading all is recommended)
  5. Go to the AI Toolkit, find the prompt you want, and click Copy Prompt
  6. Paste the prompt into your AI tool
  7. Replace any remaining placeholders (or rely on Auto-Fill if you've set that up)
  8. Press Send

How do I download the Summit Data Package?

Go to https://cirasai.com/downloads/ and download the Complete Summit Context (Data Package) zip file. You'll need to be logged in. After downloading, unzip the file and upload its contents into your AI tool before using any of the AI Toolkit prompts. The data package is also updated after the summit as new content (transcripts, videos, PDFs) becomes available.

Which AI tool should I use?

Any of the major tools work. ChatGPT and Claude are the most popular for conversational tasks like the ones in the AI Toolkit. If your organization provides Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini, those work great too. You'll need your own account with whichever tool you use — most have free tiers available.

Do I need to be technical to use any of this?

Not at all. If you can copy, paste, and upload a file, you can use everything on this site. The prompts are pre-written — your job is just to paste them in and press send. See How do I use the prompts with the summit data? for the full step-by-step walkthrough.

Is the website free to use?

Yes. The website and all data downloads are free for registered summit attendees. You will need your own account with an AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to use the prompts — most have free tiers available.

Is my data private?

The summit content on this site — session titles, speaker bios, schedule, presentation materials — is public information. Any personal notes or context you add within your AI tool conversations are between you and your AI provider, not stored on this site. We do not sell or share your personal data. Limited, non-identifiable diagnostic data may be retained for site improvement purposes.

AI CONNECTION KEY (ADVANCED)

What is the AI Connection Key?

The AI Connection Key is an advanced feature that lets compatible AI tools — such as Claude Desktop or other MCP-compatible tools — connect directly to live summit data on this site, rather than using a downloaded static data package. Once connected, your AI tool can pull real-time information automatically.

This setup is technical and not required for most attendees. If you're unsure whether you need it, you don't — the prompts and downloaded data package work just as well for the vast majority of use cases.

Do I need to set up the AI Connection Key?

No. The AI Connection Key is optional and intended for advanced users comfortable with technical configuration. We recommend reviewing the setup with your IT team before proceeding. For most attendees, downloading the data package from https://cirasai.com/downloads/ and using the AI Toolkit prompts is all you need. Additional support may be available after the summit if needed.

INSIGHT EXCHANGE (LUNCH TABLES)

What is the Insight Exchange?

The Insight Exchange is a structured lunch discussion format where attendees gather at topic-based tables for focused conversations with peers. Topics span Leadership, Workforce, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and more. It's one of the best networking opportunities of the day — small group, focused conversation, shared interest.

How do I pick a lunch table?

Browse available tables and select your seat at https://cirasai.com/insight-exchange/. Tables are organized by topic category. We recommend browsing before summit day so you know where you're headed at lunch.

AFTER THE SUMMIT

When will session transcripts and videos be available?

Content will be added to the site in the days following the May 6 event:

  • Session transcripts — available within a few days after the summit
  • Session videos — may take slightly longer to process and post
  • Presentation PDFs — available as soon as possible after each session

The downloadable data package at https://cirasai.com/downloads/ will also be updated as new content is added.

How do I use post-summit content with my AI tool?

Once transcripts and materials are posted:

  1. Download the updated data package from https://cirasai.com/downloads/
  2. Upload the new files into your AI tool
  3. Use prompts from the AI Toolkit to revisit sessions you missed, extract key takeaways, or build follow-up action plans

You can return to the site at any time using your existing login.
